How to set recurring reminders with the Reminders app
With the launch iOS 13 Yes iPadOS 13, Apple has redesigned the Reminder application, bringing many new features and improvements. One of them is the new addition of periodic hourly reminders.
The system is quite simple. When you receive a reminder notification, mark it as complete. When you return to the Reminders app, you’ll see that the reminder is still there, but now it still has time to expire.
If you do not mark the reminder as complete, it will not be repeated in the next hour. You can choose to set an end date for the recurring reminder, or you can simply delete the reminder.
Open the «Reminders» app on your iPhone or iPad and choose a list. Here, tap the «New Reminder» button.
In the text box, give the reminder a name, such as «Wash your hands.» From there, tap the «i» button on the right edge of the screen.
Touch the switch next to «Remember me a day» if it’s off, and then select the switch next to «Remember me right away.» From there, tap the time option and choose a start time. Then select the «Repeat» option.
Here, choose the «Schedule» option.
On the Details screen, you’ll see a new option. Touch the «Resume» button to choose an end date for this option.
By default, the repeat cycle continues indefinitely. You can choose to end it on a certain day from this menu.
After customizing the reminder, tap the «Done» button.
If you want to delete a reminder, swipe left and then tap the «Delete» button.
