If you have a Galaxy S20, S20 + or S20 Ultra, you probably launched «Samsung Daily» by chance. It hosts news and other content from Samsung, Netflix, Feedly and more. However, if you do not use it, you can delete it.
First, tap and hold an empty area on the Home screen, or pinch two fingers together on screen to open the Overview menu on the Home screen.
Then swipe from left to right on the screen to the Samsung Daily window (it’s the leftmost screen after the main home screen).
Disable the «Samsung Daily» option. Touch the home screen window or press the key the Back button to exit Overview mode.
With Samsung Daily turned off, you won’t be able to swipe from the Galaxy S20 home screen. You will need to install a third party option such as New Launcher (with using a plugin), to add a side panel similar to Google Discover.
If you ever decide that you want to recover «Samsung Daily», repeat the steps above to reactivate it.
