How to display battery percentage on Samsung Galaxy S20

Get out of the box Samsung Galaxy S20, S20 + or S20 Ultra does not display the current battery percentage of the device in the status bar. Instead, you should use the best judgment based on the battery icon. Here’s how to display the battery percentage on your phone.

Start by sliding your finger down the top of the screen of Galaxy S20 to open the notification tone. Now tap the wheel icon next to the start button to open the Settings menu.

Alternatively, swipe up on the phone’s home screen to open the app drawer. From there, use the search bar at the top of the screen or scroll through the panels and launch the «Settings» app.

Select the «Notifications» option at the top of the list.

Find and tap the «Status bar» button above the «Do Not Disturb» button.

Finally, select the lever that corresponds to the «Show battery percentage» list. Make sure the icon turns blue.
