updates of iOS 13 Yes iPadOS 13 they brought a redesigned sharing sheet for iPhone and iPad. Unfortunately, new dynamic shortcuts can be annoying. Here’s how to remove them from the spreadsheet.
The first row of the new spreadsheet serves as a shortcut to quickly share something with recently used contacts. In theory, it should make your life easier. In practice, however, it rarely works that way.
At the moment, only AirDrop and Messages contacts appear in this list (I’m sorry WhatsApp lovers).
If you rarely (or never) use the feature, it can quickly become annoying. Unfortunately, you cannot deactivate the contact queue, but there is a solution. If you delete a conversation or group thread from the Messages application, it also disappears from the sharing sheet.
This step is a little rough, but if you want to remove a contact from the spreadsheet, this is the only way. To get started, open the «Messages» app on your iPhone or iPad. Find the conversation you want to delete in the spreadsheet.
Swipe left on the conversation.
Touch «Delete» when it appears on the right.
To confirm, tap «Delete» again in the pop-up window.
All messages in the conversation are deleted, including videos and photos.
Now, when you return to the distribution sheet, you will notice that that special contact is no longer on the list.
Repeat this process for all the contacts that you want to remove from the top row of the Share sheet.
If you want to remove AirDrop contact suggestions, you need to turn it off Complete AirDrop. To do this on a newer device, swipe down from the top right corner to display the Control Center. If you have an older device with a power button, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
Here, tap and hold the Toggle menu.
Then tap and hold the «AirDrop» button.
Finally, tap ‘Reception off’.
When you return to the sharing sheet, you’ll see that your AirDrop contacts have disappeared from the list.
Make sure you check out all the other interesting things you can do in new sheet Share, such as adding favorite actions and customizing the app section.
